Healthy Homemade Ice Cream. How To Do It ?

So today we’ll make two different kinds, the most popular ice creams, chocolate and strawberry.The difference between home made ice cream and ice cream what you buy at grocery store is that you can have it without any regret. In fact they are both super easy, quilt free, sugar free and incredibly tasty as well. As a matter of fact there is no added sugar – all the sweetness comes from bananas and dates. You can always taste before if there is enough of sweetness or if you want to add more dates. Same goes with cocoa, if you are a big chocolate fan you can always add more. In order to achieve milky texture I use coconut milk.

I’m going to teach you a little trick as well. This might come a little suprising for you but if you have some vodka at home I suggest you add a little, about one tablespoon. It won’t let the ice cream get too icy and crystallized.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup any plant based milk (I use coconut-rice)
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1.5 tablespoon cocoa
  • handful of peanuts
  • 6 dates
  • tablespoon of vodka

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut the bananas into slices and put them into freezer for 2 hours. (I always have some bananas in the freezer for smoothies or ice creams)
  2. Pour plant based milk into blender or food processor, then add peanut butter, cocoa, peanuts dates and bananas.
  3. Blend till smooth and put the mixture back into freezer.
  4. Now you just have to last for 2 two hours without eating it until it’s cured.
  5. Afterwards serve, add some banana slices, chocolate chips or peanuts if you like.
  6. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 bananas
  • 150 g (5 oz) fresh strawberries
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 1/2 plant based milk
  • 7 dates
  • pinch of vanilla
  • tablespoon of vodka

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut the bananas into slices and put them into freezer for 2 hours.
  2. Pour plant based milk into blender or food processor, then add fresh strawberries, coconut milk, plant based milk, dates and vanilla.
  3. Blend till smooth and put the mixture back into freezer(for 2 hours again).
  4. Serve, once again, add some strawberrie slices, chocolate chips or peanuts if you like.
  5. Enjoy!

In my opinion the hardest part was waiting! In fact I checked every 15 minutes that maybe the ice cream is done already :D. Well ok, I admit that I might of had couple of bites before it was completely cured.
